Substain is a powerful, cloud-based software solution for ESG reporting and sustainability management. It was specially developed to reduce complexity, meet regulatory requirements and efficiently design sustainability processes - from CO₂ accounting and dual materiality to the automated implementation of reports and verification obligations (e.g. ESRS, VSME, EU Taxonomy, EUDR)
Substain allows you to manage all ESG data centrally, user-friendly and analyzable at the touch of a button - according to the principle:

Substain is backed by an interdisciplinary team of ESG experts, software developers and sustainability strategists. Our particular strength: close cooperation with the ConClimate consulting unit.
Substain is continuously being developed further - based on real project experience from over 150 ESG and climate protection mandates. This means that new regulatory requirements, industry-specific challenges and user feedback are incorporated directly into product development.
The result: Software that is not only technically impressive, but also has its finger on the pulse of the times - and solves precisely those problems that are really relevant in companies today.
Our history
From pioneer to platform - Substain grows from practical experience.
The idea for Substain did not come about by chance - it was part of our DNA from the very beginning. When ConClimate GmbH was founded in 2020, it was already clear: sustainability management needs digital solutions that are technically sound and technologically flexible.
While ESG was still a marginal topic in many companies, we developed the first software modules in close cooperation with customers - based on real project requirements. Substain therefore did not grow reactively to regulation, but was designed early on as a response to upcoming challenges.
Today is Substain is one of the most powerful ESG software solutions in the German-speaking world - and continues to be closely linked to the consulting work of our sister company ConClimate.
